Specialty coffee is not just a higher quality coffee. It is a more aromatic coffee, with stricter social and environmental policies and much more regulated. However, this has resulted in a higher cost when compared to commercial coffee and is therefore aimed at a very restricted and limited audience.

Ape Coffee Roasters' mission is to introduce this coffee to other audiences, to the masses and at sustainable prices.
