APE Coffee History

Ape Coffee is a family-owned brand that came onto the market in 2015 with the aim of filling the gap in the supply of fast and mobile services in the restaurant industry, more specifically in the sale of coffee. This concept began on the streets of Braga and we were present daily in the historic city centre, using a suitably adapted Piaggio APE motorbike, hence our name.

The culture of espresso consumption combined with the grab and go concept was adopted almost immediately. The speed, design and exclusivity of our drinks are some of the reasons why customers prefer us.

Our company is proud to say that it serves one of the best espressos in the city. We make a point of monitoring every factor that may influence the quality of our products and the quality of the coffee on a daily basis. We always make an effort to rigorously check the grinding of the coffee beans, the pressure and the temperature of the machine on a daily basis.

APE Coffee currently has a coffee shop in the heart of the city of Braga and has been doing so since 2017. Between 2019 and 2023, we will also be present in the city of Barcelos with a coffee shop. Since 2019, you can find specialty coffee roasted by us every week in our spaces, as well as our famous crepes and pancakes with different toppings.

Our journey has been, and continues to be, one of constant training and learning so that we can keep up with and respond to the needs of our customers and, together, we can choose to drink better coffee.

In this sense, we want to be known as the company that innovated the roasting and marketing of coffee, taking specialty coffee to the end consumer, always with the aim of helping our planet and minimizing the negative impact that capsule coffee and commercial coffee provide.
