APE Coffee was founded in 2015 with the goal of bringing a fast, mobile, and innovative concept to the art of serving coffee. The project began on the streets of Braga’s historic city center, with our customized Piaggio APE designed to serve high-quality espresso — and it was from this little vehicle that our name was born.

In 2017, we opened our coffee shop in the heart of Braga. Since 2019, we have been roasting our own specialty coffee every week, ensuring freshness, authenticity, and exceptional flavor. Our crepes and pancakes, made to order with a variety of toppings, quickly became customer favorites. In 2023, we moved into our new home in the Setra building near Braga’s Sé Cathedral — APE Coffee Braga.

In 2025, we launched APE Coffee Corner, a grab-and-go concept created for those who seek both quality and convenience. Here, coffee is served in cans sealed on the spot, preserving freshness and offering a practical, premium, and sustainable experience.

Our journey has been built on continuous learning and a commitment to quality. We aim to be recognized as a brand that has innovated in coffee roasting and distribution, bringing specialty coffee closer to the final consumer and helping reduce the negative impact of commercial coffee and disposable capsules.
